My First Cardigan Workbook,
published by Annie's Publishing, includes skill-building lessons that
teach knitters top-down knitting through the creation of eight sweaters.
The book is
written as a teaching tool to move beginners to the intermediate skill
level. The patterns can be worked one after the other as a progressive
learning tool, with a new technique introduced with each chapter. It
can also be used as a classroom workbook for group learning, and I will
be teaching a class at the shop in April (details below). Book price is $14.95.
