Backstage News on Daniel Bryan’s Likely Schedule Moving Forward
As we all know by now, SmackDown Live General Manager has been cleared for WWE in-ring competition. While Daniel Bryan is back as a regular wrestler aside from his General Manager responsibilities, his schedule moving forward hasn’t been decided yet. In the past, Bryan has hinted at not wanting to work a full-time schedule and the best guess at this point in time is that he will work less than most full-time wrestlers, but more than part-timers like Brock Lesnar. The best comparison would be Randy Orton.
To further elaborate on his likely schedule, that would mean he would work some, but not all house shows, but still be involved at all big shows and PPVs. WWE also now has a plethora of “dream matches” that they could line Daniel Bryan up with, including against Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, AJ Styles, Rusev, Nakamura or even Kurt Angle but it all depends on how the next Superstar Shakeup will play out. As previously reported, Bryan’s contract runs out this September and most likely he will re-sign a long term deal with WWE.
