Coutinho to snub Man Utd ‘out of loyalty to Liverpool’
Philippe Coutinho will reject a move to Manchester United this summer over two reasons, according to reports.
Coutinho left Liverpool in January 2018 in a deal worth up to £142million after failing to force a move through six months earlier.
He hasn’t had the best debut season in La Liga with five goals and two assists from 34 appearances in a title-winning side.
That form has led to speculation that he could be on his way out of the Camp Nou this summer after only one campaign with Chelsea and the Red Devils heavily linked.
And now Sport claims that Coutinho will reject a potential move to United because of their lack of Champions League football next season and out of loyalty to former club Liverpool.
As reported by the same publication on Tuesday, Paris Saint-Germain are now the favourites to land the Brazilian as he would have to take a pay cut to join Chelsea.
