JR Comments On A Potential X-Pac Return To WWE, Rock vs. Cena, More
– Jim Ross has updated his blog yet again. Below are some of Ross’ more interesting comments. You can read the blog in its entirety at JR’s official web site at jrsbarbq.com:
Is X-Pac returning to the WWE? Beats me, but I would like it personally. He is a talented guy inside the ring no doubt about it. I don’t know where his head is regarding the travel schedule, his overall health, etc.
Hulk has been in and out of the WWE scene many times over the years. For any one to predict that he will or will not be back in a WWE ring ever would be no more than a guess. Never say never when addressing this particular matter. Hulk appearing at the right event versus the right opponent with the right promotion would still do well. Is this going to happen? Your guess is as good as mine. For the record and to address Hogan fans who visit our site, I have no issues whatsoever with Hogan on a business or a professional level, if any one cares, or if it actually matters in the “big picture”. I hope he sells millions of grills and the Mrs. and I do watch his VH1 TV show. If I have said less than positive things about him on TV back in the day, in the eyes of some of his fans, all I can say, “It’s just business, Brother!”
Will we ever see a Rock vs. Cena match? My guess would be “highly unlikely”. Rock is a movie star and isn’t likely to ever wrestle again as he has made a career change. Do you blame him? I sure as hell don’t. For those fans that damn the Rock for becoming successful in another career, I am puzzled by that logic. Rock is still a fan and always will be and him returning to the ring or not doesn’t lessen his successes or his passion for the business that is in his blood. I would like to see the match between these two entertaining individuals, nonetheless.
I did not read the Heidenreich comments you mentioned. I don’t know what he said, but it’s a free country and he can say what he wants. If I got upset every time I read something negative about me from a former wrestler or a disgruntled fan I would likely remain “upset” which is not exactly healthy. Someone said that RVD took some mild shots at yours truly recently on an interview which is perfectly his right. I know in my heart how I treated Rob and what my level of respect for him is, but if he has a different point of view toward me he has every right to express it. I don’t lose sleep over that stuff at this stage of the game, but, like anyone else one wishes all things about one’s career could be positive but that isn’t life or the real world.
