Brian Cody’s side are now in pole position to advance from Group 2 and they got off to a lightning start today with goals from Jonjo Farrell in the 3rd minute and Ollie Walsh in the 8th minute.

TJ Reid supplied 0-7 in that opening period with Kilkenny adding further goals after the interval courtesy of Richie Hogan and Richie Leahy before Farrell and Leahy each hit the net for a second time before the final whistle.
