Mahrez aims to finish career at Prem champions Man City
Man City star Riyad Mahrez has revealed his plans to see out his career at the Etihad, saying there is ‘no desire to look elsewhere’.
The Algerian international has enjoyed huge success since his move from Leicester in 2018, winning three Premier League titles and one FA Cup.
He could yet add a Champions League winners medal to his collection when City face Chelsea on May 29.

But it’s not always been easy for Mahrez under Pep Guardiola. Earlier in the season, he was linked with an Etihad exit after spending numerous Premier League games on the bench between December and January.
The 30-year-old has now responded to close claims, pledging his allegiance to the club.
He told French outlet RMC (via Goal): “My future? I feel very good at Man City. There is no desire to look elsewhere.
“I don’t know yet what my situation will be. But I’m happy at City and that’s where I want to be.”
When asked about a potential move to Marseille, Mahrez continued: “No, that’s not something I tell myself. I want to end my career in England and Man City. So that’s not something that I am considering.”

Mahrez and his City team-mates will go into the Champions League final with great confidence following an impressive season.
They clinched the Premier League title with three games left and also defeated Tottenham in the Carabao Cup final.
They undoubtedly will have been watching at the weekend as Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester overcame Chelsea in the FA Cup at Wembley.
Thomas Tuchel’s brilliant few months at Stamford Bridge could now unravel with defeat to City.
Mahrez, meanwhile, was also asked about his claim to the Ballon d’Or after a great season. He said: “No, I wouldn’t go so far as to say that. I will stay focused on this Champions League final.
“I am not here to believe myself to be a future Ballon d’Or. We will play the matches, try to make a difference with the team and then we will see.”
Mahrez is expected to feature in City’s next few matches. They travel to Brighton on Tuesday evening before facing Everton on Sunday.
Then their attention will turn to the Champions League final, which will now be held in Portugal.
