Mourinho goes whole hog as Reguilon love-in continues
Tottenham full-back Sergio Reguilon has revealed Jose Mourinho’s generous gesture towards him on Christmas Day.
Reguilon – who has impressed since joining Spurs from Real Madrid in the summer – spent the day on his own away from his family in Spain.

But he explained how a Mourinho gift brightened his day and helped him to enjoy Christmas.
“I’d like you to know him the way I know him,” he told AS.
“I could tell a thousand great stories. For example, on Christmas Day. He knows I’m on my own. We arrive at training on the 25th at 3pm and there’s a box in my place.
“I open it up and it’s a roast suckling pig, already cooked. He said to me ‘I know you’re alone at Christmas, and that way you don’t have to cook and you’ll eat well.’
“It’s really important for a player that he keeps an eye on how you are, away from football.”
This is not the first pig-based gift Mourinho has given the Spaniard.
He promised to buy the player an Iberico ham if Spurs beat Manchester City last month.
And following the 2-0 victory he went through with the deal, posting a picture of the two posing next to the meat on his Instagram page along with the caption: ‘A promise is a promise. It cost me £500 but I keep my promises.’
