Newcastle United keen on €25m-rated Serie A attacker
Newcastle United are interested in signing Roma winger Cengiz Under, according to reports.
The Turkey international signed for Roma in July 2017 for around €13.4 million from Süper Lig side İstanbul Başakşehir.
The 23-year-old has now spent three seasons playing in Serie A, and he has scored 13 goals from his 70 league outings.

But now it looks like Roma are willing to let Under leave, which has alerted clubs in the Premier League.
According to Inside Futbol, Newcastle United and Leicester City have both shown interest in the attacker. It is also said that Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin have enquired about the winger.
The report adds that Newcastle have asked about taking Under on loan this season. But Roma are only interested in letting him leave on a permanent deal of around €25 million.
Unless either side changes their stance, a deal looks unlikely at this time with a loan deal out of the question.
Newcastle remain keen to improve their squad further, despite already having a very busy window.
Over the past few days, Steve Bruce’s side has brought in Callum Wilson, Ryan Fraser and Jamal Lewis for a total amount of around £34 million.
Earlier in the window, they also signed Jeff Hendrick from Burnley and Mark Gillespie from Motherwell on free transfers.
Both Hendrick and Wilson hit the ground running at the weekend. Each of them scored as Newcastle beat West Ham 2-0 at the London Stadium.
Bruce already has some good options out wide with Allan Saint-Maximin, Miguel Almiron and new boy Fraser.
Saint-Maximin appears to have nailed down a place on the left flank. If Under does join Newcastle he will add a lot of competition on the right-hand side for Bruce’s side.
