Royal Rumble Ticket Sales, SD! Called A Civil Rights Violation, WWE PPVs In 2008

– If you have not heard by now, WWE’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view scheduled for January 27, 2008 at Madison Square Garden in New York City sold out in just about five hours. WWE ended up selling 14,000 tickets for the event; however, they will probably announce a significantly higher number.

-The Sacramento Bee listed Friday Night SmackDown! as the 7th worst television show of 2007. Here is what the publication said about WWE’s show: ”Doesn’t matter that it’s fake, let’s look at the messages: use steroids, cheat, taunt, get revenge, and violence solves everything. Then there’s the massive misogynist steak. This isn’t a TV show it’s a civil rights violation.”
