Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan will indeed continue to face Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens at WrestleMania this Sunday. Shane’s status for the match appeared to be in doubt after it was revealed that McMahon was hospitalized with acute diverticulitis recently. However, he appeared on Smackdown and last and agreed to put his differences with Daniel Bryan behind him. The two hugged it out in the middle of the ring as well. This confirmed that McMahon has been medically cleared by WWE doctors to compete in his match at WrestleMania this weekend. It seems that the two leaders of the Smackdown brand are now finally on the same page for once.

Carmella is still holding the Money in the Bank briefcase several months after winning in in a ladder match last summer. Carmella has been talking about cashing in her briefcase more and more lately, and it was even reported recently that she may either cash in her contract on the Raw or Smackdown Women’s Championship very soon. However, her attempt last night did not see her win the title. Carmella once again failed to cash in her Money in the Bank briefcase during a match between current champion Charlotte Flair and Natalya. Flair was knocked down in the ring but she managed to recover in time and prevent Carmella from cashing in her contract.

Welp, so much for cashing in your #MITB opportunity, @CarmellaWWE… #SDLive @MsCharlotteWWE pic.twitter.com/nSzeC9htWq

WWE has made a number of rulings that have affected the fans recently. For example, ring announcers are required to speed up their introductions in order to prevent fans from doing the “one fall” chant, but it appears that another rule has been put in place. During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that it was odd that Ronda Rousey was slapping hands with fans on the way to the ring because WWE Superstars are actually banned now from doing so. The reason why is supposedly because slapping hands with fans takes the roster members longer to get to the ring. Another possible reason why the change was made is to present Ronda Rousey as a top babyface in the company.
