Wolves can sign £25m summer target for free in January
Wolves will be able to sign £25m-rated summer target Otavio Monteiro on a free in January from Porto.
The midfielder came through the ranks with Brazillian outfit Internacional. His talent was soon recognised as he made the switch to Porto in 2014.
He signed a five-year deal for the Portuguese giants, and he enjoyed a successful loan spell with Vitória Guimarães in 2015/16.

Otavio has since made over 100 appearances for Porto. He has grown to become a key player for them, and he enjoyed his best season to date during the 2019/20 campaign.
The midfielder provided 15 assists in all competitions as Porto won the Primeira Liga title once again. His form led to him being named in the division’s Best XI for the 2019/20 season.
Porto have valued him at £25m in recent weeks, but he is out of contract this summer. This means that he can sign a pre-contract agreement with any interested clubs ahead of joining them on a free next summer.
Wolves have strong links with Porto, as they signed Fabio Silva and Vitinha from them this summer. The Mirror have reported that Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are keen to bring in Otavio as well.
The English side will face heavy competition across Europe to sign the midfielder. It is believed that Sevilla and Napoli are among the clubs also interested in the Porto man.
