WWE Mixed Match Challenge Results (11/27): Two Teams Remain After Raw Brand Semifinals
The second season of WWE Mixed Match Challenge is very quickly winding to a close, as the final four teams from Monday Night Raw faced off this Tuesday night exclusively on Facebook Watch.
In the first of two matches, former WWE Champion and the “Modern Day Maharaja” Jinder Mahal partnered with the captain of crazy Alicia Fox to score a big victory over the makeshift replacement team of Ember Moon and Curt Hawkins.
In the second match of the night, the underdog team of Bayley and the eternally upbeat Finn Balor defeated 20-year veteran Mickie James and the “Almighty” Bobby Lashley to advance to the playoff quarterfinals.
Next week’s episode of Mixed Match Challenge will feature the final quarterfinal matches from the Smackdown Live side of things. The episode in two weeks will see the semifinal round, with the winners from Raw and Smackdown facing off at next month’s WWE TLC pay-per-view.
As previously reported, the winners of this year’s mixed tag team tournament will receive the coveted #30 spots in their respective men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches.
